Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar reunite

'Bhooth Bangla' marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, a combo that delivered superhit films including *Bhool Bhulaiyaa*. This horror comedy film marks their reunion after nearly 14 years. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film features a strong supporting cast including Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav among others. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film promises to combine spooky thrills with comedy. 'Bhooth Bangla' is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2026.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's collaboration, 'Bhooth Bangla' also has another speciality: the director is returning to horror comedy genre after a long gap. The Malayalam director's previous work was the thriller film 'Corona Papers' which received good reviews from audiences, although it achieved mediocre box office business. The film starred Shane Nigam in the lead role.
