Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan all smiles as they return to Mumbai after shutting down a reporter in Abu Dhabi

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya were spotted back in Mumbai after attending a star-studded award function in Abu Dhabi. The mother-daughter duo made headlines, not just for their stunning appearances, but also for Aishwarya’s witty response when a reporter brought up Aaradhya during an interview.

The mother-daughter duo was spotted at the airport, smiling for the cameras as they made their way to their car. Aishwarya looked stylish in a black kaftan-style top and matching leggings, while Aaradhya opted for a white sweatshirt and black track pants.

At the event, Aishwarya spoke candidly about motherhood. When asked what advice she had for mothers raising daughters, she said, "You are a mother, you know best. We are all human beings, and there’s no rule book we are born with. So you are incredible, you do you."

When a reporter mentioned that Aaradhya is always by her side, Aishwarya cut in with a laugh, saying, "Whoa! She's my daughter, she's always with me," making it clear that Aaradhya is never far from her side.




During the show, Aishwarya also reflected on her bond with filmmaker Mani Ratnam, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to play Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan. She spoke of her long association with him, dating back to her 1997 debut in his film Iruvar, saying, "I was so honored that he asked me to be his Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan."



Just days before, Aishwarya stole the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week 2024, walking the ramp for Mossi in a stunning red outfit. Representing L’Oreal Paris as a brand ambassador, she mesmerised the audience, greeting them with a graceful ‘namaste’.

Aishwarya's 1999 super hit film Taal recently completed 25 years, an event was organsied for the film with directot Subhash Ghai, music director AR Rahman and Anil Kapoor.
