Agneepath on Republic Day

Karan Johar's Agneepath will now release on the Republic Day weekend. The film that was to release on January 13 has been pushed 13 days ahead to take advantage of the holiday season.
The Republic Day weekend is one of the most coveted periods for film releases. Earlier Aamir Khan was to release his suspense thriller Dhuan on the same date. And we hear Ajay Devgn
wants to bring his action-thriller Tezz also on this date.Now Aamir has decided to push his film indefinitely because he reportedly has 20-more days of shooting left.
Under the circumstances, Karan has decided to take advantage of the Republic Day holiday period and give Hrithik Roshan-Sanjay Dutt the advantage of a long weekend at the ticket windows. Ajay of course is still expected to come with Tezz on the same date.
