According to the latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has garnered as much as Rs 6.50 crore nett on day six of its release, thus taking the film's total collection to Rs 88 crore. The film that has been faring well at the ticket window saw one of the highest opening weekend collection of the year. Tuesday's collection was also at an all time high for 'Toilet' with a recorded collection of Rs 19.50 crore.

The film is based on the ailing issue of open defecation and methods that can be adopted to curb it. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is a love story revolving around the problem of open defecation in India while promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cleanliness initiative - Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Khiladi Kumar also released a Toilet Anthem days before the film hit the screens.
