‘The Bengal Files’ fails to beat even The Tashkent Files’s box office numbers in second week
The Bengal Files opened with a decent Rs 1.75 crore on its first Friday with the jumping to Rs 2.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.75 crore on Sunday on the basis of word of mouth. By the end of the first week, The Bengal Files stood at Rs 11.25 crore.
In the second week , the film began its journey on weak legs as Friday collection was just Rs 60 lakh, Saturday it was Rs 1.15 crore and Sunday was Rs 1.1 crore.
