'Secret Superstar' box-office collection Day 11: Zaira Wasim starrer film makes Rs 50.71 crore

Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan starrer 'Secret Superstar' helmed by Advait Chandan is doing great at the box-office since its release.

According to a report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film that cashed in on the good word of mouth has collected Rs 9.50 crore on the second weekend including Sunday's Rs 4 crore. The grand total of the film now stands at Rs 50.71 crore. The film is running best in the Mumbai circuit which is predicted to round up to a Rs 20 crore nett business in the final count, further states the report.
Written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao, the film also features Meher Vij and Raj Arjun in lead roles.
The story revolves around a Muslim girl Insia (Zaira Wasim), who aspires to be a singer. She seeks a pompous music director named Shakti Kumar(Aamir Khan) to achieve her dream.
