‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has been the talk of the town right from the word go, and this Ranveer Singh starrer spy thriller has lived up to the expectations of the audience. Released just a few months ago following its first instalment, the Aditya Dhar-directed movie has broken box office records by joining the 500 crore club in just 3 days. Showcasing the journey of Indian undercover spy Jaskirat Singh Rangi becoming Humza Ali Mazari, infiltrating the underworld of Lyari, and rising to become their undefeated king has left the cash registers ringing at the box office.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ box office collection day 3 update

The box office journey of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ began on 18 March 2026, a day ahead of the official release date. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 43 crore from early paid previews, which is so far the highest amount in film premiere history. Earlier, it was Pawan Kalyan's 'OG' that enjoyed the throne, with over Rs 25 crore collection on the premiere day.

Further, on Thursday, day one, the collection soared up to Rs 102.55 crore net in India. Day 2, Friday, saw a drop in the numbers, with the movie collecting Rs 80.72 crore net in the domestic market. However, the latest reports show it was a mere roadblock in the journey, as on day 3, Saturday, the movie, with a rise of around 40 per cent, earned Rs 113.00 crores.




With this, the net collection of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ stands at Rs 339.37 crore net and Rs 404.54 crore gross in India. Further, the movie collected Rs 96.50 crore gross from overseas, taking the total worldwide gross collection to Rs 501.04 crore. At this rate, the movie is expected to close its debut weekend around Rs 700 crores gross globally.

Further, while the last instalment was only released in Hindi, 'Dhurandhar 2' is out in cinemas in 5 languages. In addition to Hindi, it was released in four south Indian languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Hindi version of the movie minted Rs 105.00 cr, while Kannada made Rs 0.01 cr and Malayalam minted Rs 0.04 cr. The Tamil and Telugu versions saw a significant rise with Rs 2.94 cr and Rs 5 cr collection, respectively.

On day 3, Saturday, the overall occupancy of the espionage drama stood at 81.6%. It's a big jump from day 2, which recorded 62.6%. Meanwhile, with 11,294 preview shows, the movie saw an occupancy rate of 64.8% on Wednesday. It soared to 67.8% with 21,633 shows on day 1, Thursday.

Breaking it down language-wise in Hindi, the movie saw 83.0% occupancy across 18,821 shows. In Kannada, the film saw 36.0% occupancy rate with 12 shows. On the other hand, Malayalam recorded 24.0% occupancy across 36 shows, Tamil wintess 61.0% with 870 shows, and Telugu saw 77.0% with 1,178 shows.

Overwhelmed by the response that the movie has been getting, filmmaker Aditya Dhar found it hard to hold back his tears when he expressed his gratitude to the audience at a recent screening. “Thank you to those who believed in me, starting from Jyoti Deshpande, and of course, my HODs, my cast members, actors, and everyone who has given their heart and soul to the film,” Aditya Dhar was seen saying in a video captured by actor Rakesh Bedi.

“I am overwhelmed with all the responses coming in and even the memes," said the filmmaker before thanking everyone. "I genuinely want to thank everyone for being here, supporting us, and being part of this journey. This wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you so much,” he expressed.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ continues the tale after Rehman Dakaits death. With an eye on the price, Humza continues to take every step towards the throne of Lyari. He aims not just to get deeper into the underworld or political scene of Lyari, but to find and eliminate every single threat. His ‘revenge’ is portrayed through high-octane action sequences, which have been highly lauded by the audience.
