The Indian adaptation of
Jon Favreau's high-profile Hollywood hit 'Chef' starring Saif Al Khan has finally hit the theatres. The opening day collections are out and from the looks of it, it seems like the film has received a lukewarm response. According to a report on BoxofficeIndia.com, 'Chef' collected Rs 90 lac on day one of its theatrical run.
We have seen Saif cook up a storm in 'Salaam Namaste' with his special set of culinary skills but this time around he is accompanied by his on-screen son Ary, played by
Svar Kamble.
The bittersweet story of their relationship paves way for an interesting storyline that's bound to tug at your heartstrings.
'Chef' highlights the importance of spending time with family. The Raja Krishna Menon-directorial showcases Roshan Kalra's (
Saif Ali Khan) journey as a chef and the bond he shares with his son Armaan (Svar Kamble).
