This Janmashtami will be special for me: Bhoomi Trivedi

For singer Bhoomi Trivedi, Janmashtami has always been special. She recollects, “My first stage performance was on Janmashtami, in front of about a thousand people in Valsad, and it remains an unforgettable experience. I was just three years old back then, and I played the role of Bal Gopal. I have always loved this festival.”
And this year, the festival is going to be extra special for Bhoomi.She shares, “This year, I am performing on the day of the festival in Mumbai and I love singing Krishna bhajans. Besides, my parents will be with me and my mom will be making panjiri for me at home, which I love to eat. Right since childhood, I have followed every ritual associated with the festival and I fast on Janmashtami. While I haven’t been in Vadodara for Janmashtami in the last eight years, the grand celebrations in Mumbai are a delight to watch too.”
