Talking on Ganesh Chaturthi festival Gujarati stars have expressed their words with ETimes exclusively.
Pooja says: "Ganapati Chauth is Samvatsari for Jains which is a big day for us... every year we have so many rituals on this day that it is difficult to do anything else... though Bappa has been my friend, guide and I am so fond of Ganapati Bappa... We have never had Ganapati at home but I have always wished to get it someday... luckily this year looks like all dreams getting fulfilled! I have made Eco-friendly Ganapati at home myself out of clay which can be later used for plantation and we intend to have 1.5 days of Ganapati at my house. Every year on the 1st of Jan I try to visit Siddhivinayak and start the year with Bappa's Darshan."
Khushi Shah: "I want to extend my very best wishes to all of you in these difficult times. Stay healthy and Safe. Wishing Lord Ganesha showers his blessings on you always…Jai Shree Siddhi Vinayak. May Lord Ganesha bring you good luck and prosperity."
Ritu Bhagwani: "Yes since my childhood we have celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi every year but since last 3 years we celebrate it uniquely, we have got Panchdhatu Ganpati Ji idol, so for the next 10 days we worship Ganesh Ji in a very happening way and the last day we immerse them in jail than we idolize them back in our temple, it's the safest and best way to celebrate as it’s environment friendly and celebration is also done in the best way."
Niilam Paanchal: "Lokamanya Tilak began Ganesh Utsav as a community celebration so that people can come together but the same thing needs a relook and we need to worship and worship responsibly and not make it a community affair this year during the ongoing pandemic resulting into new normal. This year we pray Ganpati for the healthy well being of all and hoping this pandemic will end soon."
