Sushi, soy and shared diplomatic ties shine at city consulate event
On December 15, the Consulate of Japan in Kolkata, in collaboration with Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador Kosato Hakuei and Kikkoman India, hosted a vibrant celebration of Japanese gastronomy that delighted all the senses. Distinguished guests, chefs, hospitality partners, and culture lovers gathered for an evening that blended tradition with innovation, showcasing the beauty of Japanese cuisine and the global versatility of Kikkoman soy sauce. The second edition of the event turned into a global feast: chefs and partners showcased culinary innovations and authentic ingredients, while each participating country presented a dish from their part of the world — all creatively elevated with the unmistakable umami of Kikkoman soy sauce.
