Shilpa Shetty and chairman Dr Dharmendra Kumar attend Doctor 365’s 5th Bollywood Maha Arogya Shivir
The 5th Bollywood Maha Arogya Shivir 2026 was successfully organised on January 18, 2026, at Chitrakoot Ground, Andheri West, Mumbai, in the presence of chief guest Shilpa Shetty and guest of honour Tusshar Kapoor, along with Rotary Club’s Dr Manish Motwani and Dr Dharmendra Kumar. Among those present were Biranchi Das, Swapnil Dhar, Sanjay Prakash, Manoj Agarwal, M K Ramaiya, Gyaneshwar Patil, actress Upasana Singh, Naresh Malhotra, actors Deepak Parashar, Dilip Sen and Sangeeta Tiwari. The event was supported by Vishal Singh, Annu Singh, fashion designer Archana Kochhar, Mahesh Manwani, B N Tiwari, Amit Doshi, Dr Dilip Pawar, Dr Govind Reddy, Dr Subhash, Harish Choksi, Mahendra Poddar, Yogita Borkar, Ani Bhushan and Dr Anil Pande. All guests were honoured with bouquets, and the programme began with the lighting of the lamp.
The free medical camp benefited over 56,000 patients, offering general health check-ups, eye examinations and spectacles, blood tests, dental care, ENT, surgery, gynaecology, urology, dermatology, cancer screening, paediatric care, X-rays, BMD, BMI, mammography, medicines and health cards. A total of 1,200 wheelchairs were distributed, 13,000 eye tests conducted, medicines worth Rs 2.5 crore provided, and 58 surgical cases identified. The camp also carried out 13,000 diabetes tests, 21,000 blood tests, 200 mammographies, 525 ECGs and 900 BMD tests, with support from over 800 doctors, 1,100 paramedical staff and 300 volunteers.
Dr Dharmendra Kumar said the camp has been organised for the past five years for members of the film industry, media professionals and their families. The guests praised his efforts, noting that his organisation has also set a world record for conducting the highest number of free mega medical camps.
Under Dr Kumar’s leadership, the trust has conducted over 33,000 medical camps across India, benefiting more than 6 crore people. It has distributed life-saving medicines worth over Rs 1,500 crore, provided 1.5 crore spectacles and over 34 lakh wheelchairs, conducted 1.2 crore TB tests, treated over 1.17 lakh TB patients, and completed more than 4.2 lakh cervical cancer screenings. At present, 56 mobile medical vans and 24 ambulance hubs operate nationwide.
