Bokaro Ram Navami Eid Security: Police Deployment, CCTVs, Drones for Law and Order
Bokaro: Adequate police deployment, barricading, CCTVs and drone surveillance will be ensured in Bokaro to maintain law and order during the upcoming Ram Navami (March 26) and Eid.
A district-level peace committee meeting held at the Collectorate was chaired by deputy commissioner Ajay Nath Jha and superintendent of police Harvinder Singh. Officials were directed to maintain coordination, monitor social media for rumours, and ensure that processions follow traditional routes, with flags within the prescribed height limit.
The DC said that the height of flags carried during Ram Navami processions must remain within the prescribed limit to avoid safety and traffic issues. Appealing for communal harmony, Jha said Bokaro was always known for social unity and urged people from all communities to celebrate the festivals together.
“Just as people share sevai during Eid and distribute laddoos on Ram Navami, festivals should be an occasion to strengthen harmony and goodwill in society,” the DC said.
The administration also directed officials to maintain close coordination to avoid any inconvenience during the festivities.
Strict monitoring of social media was ordered to prevent rumours, and authorities were asked to take immediate action against those spreading misleading information.
