Zari boutique by designer Gauri Deshpande launched in Pune

Zari by Gauri, a young and talented designer Gauri Deshpande, was recently launched amidst much fan fare in the city.
The boutique spread across 2,500 sq ft, has everything for a woman’s festive wardrobe. Elated with the response she received by the guests who attended the do, Gauri said, “I always wanted to open a boutique of my own. Everything on display right from the anarkalis to the saris, and accessories, to potlis and handbags are all designed by me.My designs are inspired by Indian tradition.” Though inspired by Indian wear, Gauri’s designs have an interesting colour palette which involves bright colours, that stand out against the neutral wood décor at the boutique. The guests present here included Ramesh and Ratna Edwankar, Rajan Bhogale, Avinash Jadhav, Nikita and Rajesh Kasat and Dr Prakash Bhave who were all were seen checking out the designs on display.
