Retro style party for members of a prominent ladies club of Kanpur

The members of a prominent ladies club of Kanpur had a blast from the past recently.
Dressed as yesteryear heroines, all of them partied hard at a do with a theme of “Action Replayy”. Helen and Zeenat Aman were the most favoured heroines as most women dressed up like them. While most followed the dress code, a few women came dressed casually too. Manit Sehgal welcomed all the members and the fun began.
We spotted Kusum wearing big shades and neckpiece alongwith a tightly draped sari looking like a typical 60s heroine, while Rashmi tried her best to look like Zeenat Aman in a red maxi teamed with a flower garland. Anshul looked glamorous dressed as Saira Bano. Dupattas tied as hair bands, big flowers adorning the joodas, shararas and the style of draping saris completed the picture. Poonam was probably facing the blues as she was dressed in blue from head to toe. A blue suit, matching nail paint and shoes stretched the blue effect a bit too far Gunjan looked chic in flared pants and a big bag.
Party-hearties were high on the music being played at the party. Remixes like “Hare Krishna Hare Ram” and “Jawani Janeman” had the ladies grooving.
