The Lucknow Theatre festival finally ended after a four day extravagance.

Theatre lovers of the city will surely remember this national level festival for a very long time as it it showcased the works of some of the finest directors of the country.

The concluding day saw the staging of the play Teji Brar, based on Henrick Ibson���s Hedda Geblar was directed by Bhanu Bharti.
The play based on the thinking process and differences in people in contemporary society and a mans��� daily struggle to attain a certain class in the society and their pessimistic attitude was a poignant, thought provoking one.
Great deal of detailing was evident on the sets as a replica of a house was there for all to see on stage.
Sindhu Mishra did full justice to the character of Teji Bra while another power packed performance was given by Mahendra Mewati, who held the play together with his presence. Alok Nayar, Rajesh Bakshi, Harvinder Kaur, Safalta Nayar and Mukta Chaddha performed well garnering a huge round of applause from the audience.
Seen enjoying the play were BNA Director Surya Mohan Kulshreshtha, senior theatre actors Dr Anil Rastogi, Ravi Nagar, Urmil Kumar Thapliyal, Jitendra Mittal, Arun Trivedi, Yugal Kishore, along with senior bureaucrat GB Patnaik, former Director Doordarshan Sushil Kumar Singh.
