All women’s do organized by a local club with a theme of ‘Desi Tadka’ in Kanpur

An all women’s do organized by a local club with a theme of ‘Desi Tadka’ had most of the members wearing traditional attire and chunky jewellery.
Even the venue was given a typical village setting with charpoys, a scarecrow and even a stable! As the members reached the venue, they were greeted in typical desi style with greetings of “Aur bhoji kaisi ko, sab theek ha?” much to the amusement of the guests.With everyone having made an effort to dress up for the do, the women soon started discussing each others look.
Together We Rock: In keeping with the theme, the women were served chhach and lassi but it was the hookah which was much preferred by the women folk. Sonali made herself comfortable on one of the charpoys and puffed on the hookah while posing for photographs with elan. While the other ladies indulged in some games. Feeding fodder to the cattle, making cow dung cakes and filling water from a well were some of the games arranged for the day. Payal, Vandana and Divya bagged the prizes in the competitions.
