When Nashik was lit with Diwali lights

The festival of lights was celebrated with a great zeal at the Nashik.
On Vasubaras, people worshiped cows, considered to be an auspicious animal at at various places in the city. On the following, Laxmi Pujan Day, businessmen from the city performed rituals and celebrated Diwali. Poojas were also performed at various places, shops and houses in the city.
People visited each other and exchanged greetings and sweet on the occasion. Owing to the Supreme Court order, the firecrackers burst this year had gone down thus reducing the pollution levels in the city.
