Nashikites embrace a chilly morning and Marathon

This Last Sunday of the Month (LSOM) marathon in Nashik, which was also the last this year saw a lot of Nashikites participating. This marathon is a monthly affair organised by the Active Energy in the city.
Irrespective of the cold wave, Nashikites gathered at the 5.45 am at Shahid Bridge.The marathon was organised in categories such as five kilometres, 10 kilometres and half-marathon where the enthusiasts ran under the guidance of Anirudha Athani.
Before the race was flagged off, Athani offered tips to the participants which would help them complete the run without injuries. The district collector Radhakrishnan B of Nashik as well as other government officials and police personnel also participated in this run.
