World museum day celebrated at Raman Science Centre

On occasion of world museum day, Nagpurians displayed their personal collections at an ongoing exhibition ‘Collection makes connections’ organised by Raman Science Centre and Planetarium. While the visitors looked quite intrigued to see wonderful and age old collections such as coins from Ashoka’s period and thumb size bible and bhagwad gita. Interestingly, there were many senior citizens participating at the expo.They had numerous pictures and autographs of film and sports celebrities. Later, there was a popular lecture and open quiz on museums.
World museum day is being organised for the past eleven years now.
