Family and friends of the bride-to-be Guneet Vij poured in large numbers at the Kamptee road Gurudwara for a Kirtan ceremony, which was later followed by lunch. The serenity of the Gurudwara gave a spiritual start to the wedding functions, which are to be followed in Indore soon. As the function progressed, Guneet and her friends were seen chatting amidst each other, especially enquiring the bride-to-be about the details of her d-day.

The murmuring annoyed the Ragis and they stopped chanting the shabads and requested everyone to maintain silence in the Gurudwara, which resulted in the delay of the programme.
Guests were tempted to indulge in authentic Punjabi food; Chola bhatura and Punjabi kulfi were a hot pick at the do! Getting a bit emotional on this occasion, Guneet said, "After my father passed away, my mother has single-handedly raised me and my sisters. I feel excited to start a new life, but at the same time, I feel sad that I will be leaving my hometown soon."
