Which played host to an interesting bunch of guests who were there on Friday for the Kashmiri Pundit Food Festival that is on till the 13th of this month. Welcoming guests with a warming cup of aromatic Kahwa tea that was being poured out of the traditional samovar was chef Suman Kaul who personally filled the plates of guests like Siddharth Kak and Ashoke Pandit with Kashmiri delicacies like Dum Aloo and Chicken Yakhni.
Loving every morsel of the feast especially the succulent Rogan Josh was Pt Shivkumar Sharma who was with son Rahul, a pure vegetarian. Taufiq and Geetika Qureshi tucked into most of the dishes and proclaimed that they had never eaten such lovely Kashmiri food before. All this praise brought a smile to the hotel’s GM Anil Malik, who insisted that the guests come again for more, as he felt one possibly couldn’t get enough at one dinner!
