That was the message that Salim and Suleiman were trying to give out at a musical concert held the other day in support of World No Tobacco Day. And wearing colourful badges proclaiming the same were a host of guests who had come to watch the duo as well as a number of other musicians perform. YK Sapru inaugurated the function and
Neetu Chandra kickstarted the do by appealing to everyone present to quit all forms of tobacco, so that they can love life to the fullest.
And then it was time for the music to begin. While Shaan mesmerised the audience with his rendition of Chaand Sifarish, budding singer Shaadab Faridi stole the show when he sang Haule Haule Ho Jayega Pyar and Maula Mere Lele Meri Jaan.
Shilpa Rao,
Neha Bhasin, Shruti Pathak, Anusha Mani,
Meiyang Chang and Vipin Aneja delivered some memorable performances with the sheer thought of creating awareness about the ill effects of tobacco. In the end, it was the rocking duo of Salim and Suleiman who performed their famous songs from Fashion, Kurbaan and Dor and entertained the audience at the fullest. They ended this musical treat with the song Chak De India. In attendance were familiar guests like
Kunal Ganjawala, Pooja Missra, Bina Aziz, Shailendra Singh and others.
