Celebs at Bappa Lahiri’s sangeet ceremony

The sangeet ceremony of Bappi Lahiri’s son Bappa was quite a firecracker.
The emcees for the evening Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly roped in every one to come and perform on the stage. While Usha Uthup sang her super hit tracks, Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun upped the tempo with Choli Ke Peechey Kya Hai... Bappa’s sister, Rema Bansal dedicated Mere Bhaiya… for the him and got the family all emotional.The groom took to the stage wearing sunglasses and bemusedly announced his intention to adorn the trademark Lahiri shades and sona now that he was getting married!
The bride Taneesha, daughter of Bollywood stunt co-ordinator Mahendra Verma, was escorted on stage by her best friend, Shraddha Kapoor. Taneesha’s friends entertained with an energetic performances on numbers like Mast Kalandar and Desi Girl. The bride then performed solo to Bole Chudiyan… While Sophie Choudry performed to Jor Ka Jhatka Hai Joro Se Laga..., Shibani Kashyap and her band then rocked the audience with a brilliant rendition of her hits. Ila Arun, Mamta Sharma, Raja Mukherjee, Sapna Mukherji, and Rimmi Sen, who gave photographers a a lot of grief to click her were here too.
