Moment of a lifetime
Amit and Shweta Gulati tied the knot amidst cheer and blessings of their loved ones in Kanpur lately.
Held at the plush lawns of a prominent hotel, the do saw lovely ladies dressed in colourful lehengas, saris and salwaar kammez.
And if the ladies were dressed to kill, men also did not lag behind and came clad in formal suits and kurtas.
Shweta Gulati looked gorgeous in black attire and was the cynosure of all eyes. (The lass shared her full name with the bride. We wonder if the young lady had an easy time answering to people calling her Shweta) The party was abuzz with activity, with the guests exchanging pleasantries and catching up with each other.
Kewal Kapoor and Saurabh Kapoor, father and brother of the bride, played the gracious host and made sure that every guest was taken care of.
Setting the pace of the party was DJ Vishal who churned out some electrifying numbers. And once he got going the bash gained momentum.
Testimony to that were party-hearties who joined the rest of the gang on dance floor on hip shaking Punjabi numbers. There was a great demand for the number Yeh mera dil pyaar ka diwana and other housemixes. The dancing continued till the wee hours.
