Metro Railway enhances passenger amenities with new drinking water facility at Central Metro Station

Metro Railway has inaugurated an additional drinking water facility at the Central Metro station on the Blue Line. The new facility, which was opened on July 29, 2025, by Shri Subrata Mondal, SSE, Works, aims to improve passenger amenities.This new source of potable water includes an underground tank with a capacity of 20,000 liters. The General Manager of Metro Railway, Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, was present at the inauguration and expressed his satisfaction with the project.This follows a similar initiative last week, when an additional drinking water supply facility was also inaugurated at the Mahatma Gandhi Road Metro station for the convenience of commuters.
