Written and directed by Abhishek Majumdar, Hindi play Muktidham was recently staged at Sangeet Natak Akademi in Gomti Nagar. Set in the 8th century, the story of the play revolved around a Buddhist monk who is soon to retire to Muktidham to die and achieve salvation. .
