Tolly celebs and delegates have a happening party on KIFF Day 4

It was a party that celebrated the 25th

Kolkata International Film Festival

and no wonder, it saw international filmmakers, delegates and Tolly celebs in attendance at a city hotel on Monday.

We spotted the host, KIFF chairman Raj Chakraborty, welcoming all the guests at the do, while Arindam Sil introduced cinematographer Sunita Radia to June and other guests. From government officials to delegates
and others, all were spotted enjoying the evening.

Parambrata made a late entry with his partner, Ike Schouten. While he was seen engaging with almost all the filmmakers from different countries, Bratya Basu enjoyed his time in an informal adda with Sekhar Das, Sudeshna Roy and others. While replying to a guest who wanted Kumar Shahani’s WhatsApp number, the director smiled and said, “Once an Australian woman asked for my email id and I replied if I could send a postal email instead. She was shocked at my ignorance,” and everyone burst into laughter.

The evening was followed by a scrumptious Bengali dinner. Slovak filmmaker Dušan Hanák, who is also the jury chairman of the international competition section, bid adieu to everyone saying, “It is going to be a long day tomorrow, as I will be watching four films back to back.”
