Neel, Lightbulbs rocking performance

The independent music scene got a shot in the arm when Neel and the Lightbulbs performed with theatre group Lok at Tantra, The Park, on Friday.
Neel also jammed with music composer Prabuddha Banerjee. The group performed “Lights and tunnels” “Friends in the right places”, and “Uh-oh” among others. We also spotted Neel’s “Gandu circus” team members Q and Rii along with French documentary filmmaker Adrian cheering the performers.
“Soumyajit and Kheya of Lok sang a number each. They added fun to the show by their stage act, which involved them prancing around the whole club. It was total madness,” said Neel. “It’s a marriage of stand-up theatre and band,” we overheard a partygoer saying.
