Last weekend was all about having a great time over some foot-tapping music. DJ Nasha, known for combining ethnic roots with the forever-evolving electronic music, played at The Basement, Hotel Samilton, on Friday night. The party continued at Shimmers on Saturday where the DJ showed revellers what it takes to balance tradition and experimentation in music.
Shimmers, a favourite hangout for techies, was packed. And the crowd was more than excited to dance to the tunes of the Mumbai-based DJ.
Apart from playing Bollywood numbers, which included recent hits from I Hate Luv Storys, remixes from his album, Flute Fantasy, were also an instant hit. “I love the high energy levels of the Kolkata crowd,” DJ Nasha said.
