Singer Bonnie Chakraborty along with his band performed at a city auditorium as part of the annual function of Central Excise Department on Wednesday.
The event saw Bonnie render 12 songs, including folk and Bolly songs along with wife Usri.The band rendered songs like Khajababa, Sundori Kamala, Aaj jane ki zid na karo and many other. The high point of the evening was the folk mix, which the band had composed recently.

“We composed this number by compiling folk music of different countries along with Hindustani classical,“ said Bonnie. Director actor Churni Ganguly, who was seen enjoying the show, said, “I never had the opportunity to attend a live concert by Bonnie, but now I know what I was missing. It is a different experience altogether." The evening came to an end with Goutam Halder's group Naye Natua presenting a play, Borda Bords.
