The event also included a wreath-laying ceremony in memory of the five Kolkata Police personnel who were killed in the terrorist attack outside the American Center in January, 2002. Participants paid their respects to the fallen officers, with the solemn tribute serving as a reminder of their sacrifice and the longstanding partnership between the American Center and Kolkata Police.
