'Theruvarangu' fest goes on floors in Kochi

The fifth edition of Kochi's street theatre fest 'Theruvarangu' was inaugurated by renowned drama artiste Prasanna at the premises of Ernakulam Public Library, on September 26 evening.
The function was followed by a Telugu play titled 'Veera Telangana,' by Praja Natya Mandali group from Hyderabad. The occasion also saw the staging of street music performances, by Kozhikode-based singer Babu Sankaran and team, and a children's drama titled Muthachante Pramanam by the District Library Council of Ernakulam.
The event, organised by P J Antony Foundation, will be on till September 29 at four different venues of the city.
