Six women artists, six different thoughts

The recent painting exhibition titled Shikharini held at the Chitrakala Studio, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, in Thrissur, explored six thoughts of six women artists from six regions of Kerala through art.
The artists, Anju Acharya, Chithra Chandran, Gruthu Sandhya Gireesh, Meera Krishna, Nimisha KR and Sandhya MS, have just completed their Bachelor’s in Fine Arts.Using several mediums, each of the artists presented their works, which they say firmly adhere to their point of view.
