The Kahaani festival organized at a city school witnessed some fun moments. As children from many schools participated in fun workshops learning various crafts like origami and puppet-making, what turned out to be the most fun-filled event was the Nagada workshop.
Jaipur based artiste Nathu Ram Solanki taught little minds the subtle nuances of drum playing.

While Nathu Ram taught the kids how to make music through the Nagadas, Usha Venkatraman taught them how to make sock puppets.
Storyteller Jeeva Raghunath had the children spellbound with her mesmerizing tales. Legendary tales of Mahabharata, Ramayana and the Panchtantra were narrated through puppets.
Organized on the grounds of the Step By Step School, the two-day fest was abuzz with various activities, especially organized for the children between six and 16 years. Sanjoy Roy, the man behind the festival, said, “This will be a yearly event, wherein children from various schools will be able to benefit from and participate in different events.”
