Dr Adrian Kennedy and Savita Date Menon hosted an impromptu cosy lunch for friends as Farrukh Dhondy, the celebrated novelist and playwright, flew down from London to watch the screening of his play Bollox held in the city.

It seems, Dr Kennedy and the radical journalist have known each other since they were both boys growing up in Jamshedpur.
