Cancer survivors Gautami and Pamela Chopra looked radiant as they addressed an exclusive gathering, highlighting the need for prevention and early detection of breast cancer. Kamal Haasan���s speech had the guests cheering as he talked of the Triumph of the Spirit.It was hard not to notice Gautami's expression of concern as Kamal spoke.
It was a poignant moment as what came to the fore was that more than the sufferers themselves it was those who loved them suffered more. Pamela's rendition of Tere liye from Veer Zaara and Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam from DDLJ had the audience eating out of her hand.
The sister duo Sanchita and Sukanya Roopchand's wowed the audience with their original composition and lyrics. Sanchita who was playing the keyboard and singing had also scored the music and written the lyrics herself.
