Artists pay tribute to football legend Diego Maradona

Illustrators Billy Fernandes and Angela Ferrao made portraits of Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona, who passed away at 60. Talking to Billy. He said “I remember seeing him on poster at home in our childhood days. My uncles used to follow him , so they would stick poster of him at home. Later, I have seen him playing and was completely dazzled by his performance.”Known for his flamboyant nature, and leading Argentina to the 1986 World Cup title, Diego’s passing away has shocked all his fans. Angela Ferrao who also made an illustration of Diego said, “I was a fan, in the sense that I enjoyed his 'game.' He was amazing and entertaining to watch.”
