Kolkata is gearing up for a burst of artistic energy as the KIFALC–YAPANCHITRA Festival 2026 arrives from mid February. Designed as a meeting ground for literature, visual arts, theatre, cinema and music, the festival will feature panel discussions, poetry readings, performances, film screenings and workshops, alongside tribal dance and live music. A major draw will be the Annual Art Workshop running through all four days, with eminent artists working live and engaging directly with audiences.The festival will open with the inauguration of its Annual Art Exhibition, followed by a packed programme bringing together leading writers, scholars, theatre practitioners and celebrated national and international authors.
