Junghir Singh's 40th birthday bash

Jungbir Singh celebrated his 40th birthday at Emperor’s Kitchen, Mehrauli, recently and his friends and family joined in the celebrations, making the day special for him.
“We’re here to celebrate his 25th and not 40th birthday,” laughed Igor Polikha, ambassador of Ukraine. When we asked Rohini, Jungbir’s wife, as to what did she gift Jungbir she said, “I’m a gift for him! Am I not?” And though there was no cake cutting at this birthday, the DJ played the birthday song.
Party-hopping, Shiv? We saw Shiv Karan Singh chatting up with friends but a little later we saw him leave in a hurry. Arrey, kya hua, we asked. “I have to attend another do, where the guest list includes just kids,” he sulked. And vroom he went and then came back too!
Go back Simon: When a guest told Simon Ferrand, who’s from Britain, about the ‘Go back Simon’ agitation, he laughed and said, “Oh, I am not aware of that. But, people say that to me all the time.”

Jonathan Yevin shared experiences of his recent tour to Rajasthan with friends. Rahul Dev walked in a little late and one couldn’t help but notice his grey hair. Nevertheless, everybody agreed that he looked great. Singer Jasbir Jassi was one of the late comers at the do.
