JMI Archery team emerges as State Champion in 46th Delhi State Archery Championship
Jamia Millia Islamia Archery Team (Men & Women) secured victory at the 46th Delhi State Archery Championship 2025-26, and were crowned the State Champion. The tournament was organised by the Delhi Archery Association from January 30, to February 1 at the Yamuna Sports Complex.
In the tournament, the team (Men & Women) secured a total of 18 medals in the Senior Category. Prof. Mazhar Asif, Vice-Chancellor, JMI, honoured the victorious team members in his office. He extended his congratulations for their championship victory and commended their performance in attaining these accomplishments.
Prof. Mohammad Abid, Deputy Director of Games & Sports along with Dr. Arunesh Kumar Singh, President of the Archery Club at the varsity, extended their congratulations to the students and conveyed their best wishes for the forthcoming sports events. Prof. Md.
