Vin Diesel teases rollercoaster ride and new ‘Fast and Furious’ film in new Super Bowl 2026 event

The ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise is back again for another ride-along, and famed actor Vin Diesel is all about taking over the film once more. A new trailer video for the latest ‘Fast and Furious’ feature was played during the Super Bowl event, and fans of the film series could not get enough.Teasing the “next chapter”, the new trailer for the franchise’s next film unveiled Diesel’s long-running character in the film. Specifically, the trailer gave way to a promo about the ‘Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster’ at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.The clip begins with the famed actor looking at the camera and asking, “You ready?” as he revs the engine on and prepares to take off in his car. The footage then continues and shows people riding a conceptual roller coaster and screaming their hearts out through the ups and downs, twists and turns. The clip ends with him saying, “Buckle up for the next chapter of Fast and Furious at Universal Studios Hollywood!”Recently, it was confirmed that the next film in the franchise, ‘Fast Forever’, will be released on March 17, 2028. The announcement was made online by the franchise’s production company. Vin Diesel also took to his account and shared a photo of himself with the late actor Paul Walker. He posted the photo along with the caption “No one said the road would be easy… but it's ours. One that has defined us and become our legacy…And a legacy… lasts forever.”The last film in the franchise, titled ‘Fast X.’ was released in 2023. The gap between the two films is the longest one yet, as of now ever since the first film was released. Over the past few years, the franchise has featured a long list of big names which include, but are not limited to, Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, John Cena, Kurt Russell, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, and Brie Larson.
