A laugh riot for Gurgaon

A group of five comedians – Tanmay Bhatt, Karunesh Talwar, Amogh Ranadive, Utsav Chakrabarty and actor Ashwin Mushran – tickled the funny bone of the Gurgaon audience recently when they put up a stand-up comedy show for them. The topics of their jokes included the elections, Gujarat and even the show CID.
After the show, Tanmay told us, “ The audience was very good. The thing is, with the NCR crowd, the expectations are always high, because they are always loud.
They love jokes on politics and Bollywood.” About the kind of comedy he does, he said, “Other than the internet, stand-up comedy is the one medium where you can say whatever you want. If you are making a point, then back it up. I have never been afraid to do that. After all, all the comedians know that one day, one of us will go to jail!”
