Wine, cheese and jewels

Chennai is a jewellery hub of sorts, and young designers are increasingly putting their best feet forward in coming out with some great new designs.
Ahalya the young jewellery designer recently held a preview of her collection, which is soon going to be showcased at the prestigious Dubai International Jewellery show. The preview saw a number known faces, most of whom came artfully dressed in ethnic wear.
It was a wine and cheese event and all those gathered had a nice time taking in the designs and chatting up with each other. The light classical music that was played throughout the evening set the mood for the party and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Ahalya looked very pretty in her black sari and antique earrings and played host to perfection. Others spotted at the event were Ajith Shetty, Shobha Vishwananth and Candy.
