Dancing into our hearts

Aishwaryaa Dhanush���s bharatanatyam recital at Bharat Kalachar in the Yuva Utsav held in connection with YG Parthasarathy's 91st birthday saw a host of celebrities.
Actor Dhanush was present from the beginning of the programme to cheer his wife. Latha Rajinikath, Soundarya Rajinikanth seemed to enjoy every bit of the dance programme. YG Mahendra and Madhuvanti Arun made sure that all the guests were taken care of properly and Maduvanti even made a cameo appearance in one of the dance items.
Sonia Selvaraghavan and Kasturi Raja���s wife were present to wish Aishwaryaa during the programme. Meenakshi Chitharanjan, guru of Aishwaryaa thanked Mrs YGP for motivating Aishwaryaa to come out of the hibernation and continue to dance. Danseuse Vyjayanthimala was present to bless the artiste.
The theme of the dance
recital was Singaravelan and Aishwaryaa began her dance with Subramanya Kavutham, which was followed by alarippu. Varnam in abhogi described the nayika���s conversation with her friend and her longing to join Lord Muruga, the most handsome hero. Malaipozhuthinilae in ragamalika depicted the nayika being pursued by Lord Muruga in her dream. The recital concluded with a thillana in Mohana Kalyani by Lalgudi Jayaraman.
