Capes, cosplay and fandom take over Kolkata comic con
Capes fluttered and swords clashed as a wave of pop culture spilled into a buzzing arena over the weekend. The second edition of Comic Con returned to the city, with Scorpion and Noob Saibot stepping out of Mortal Kombat, Power Rangers striking heroic poses, Barbie bringing her signature glam, and Hiromi Higuruma’s intensity meeting Jack Sparrow’s swagger. High-energy performances, immersive stalls, virtual gaming zones and fan showcases blurred the line between spectator and spectacle. Movie-themed experiences added to the thrill, making it a vibrant celebration of fandom.
