Prem Anand and presenter
Nila Madhab Panda were present at the occasion with several guests from the industry.
Not releasing the trailer directly on the digital platforms, Nila Madhab said they wanted people to be part of the trailer release. So, they organised such an event in a single screen theatre. “We want people to know about this film and be part of its trailer release. It’s a different kind of a film and far removed from the conventional Odia films of today,” said the filmmaker, who has been associated with an Odia film for the first time.
Anubhav proved to be the crowd puller as he spoke about the film. He also cleared his fans’ doubts. They thought the film is a biopic of the former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik. “I would say that the film is not a biopic and it’s purely commercial. People should come to watch the film keeping that aspect in mind,” said Anubhav.
Following the trailer release, the cast of the film spoke to their fans in a press meet-cum-question and answer session organised at the theatre. The film has some good songs and the remixed version of old Odia film song Abhimanini.
