Family first
The wedding saw Shivarajkumar’s younger brothers Raghavendra and Puneeth, as well as cousins Vijay Raghavendra and Sriimurali pitch in all functions, be it with their dance moves during the sangeet or with their organizational skills during the wedding ceremony and reception. The brothers stood rock solid and held fort, as Shivarajkumar and wife Geetha were busy on stage greeting guests along with the newly-weds.
Friends at the wedding
While colleagues like Sudeep, Upendra and V Ravichandaran dropped by to wish Nirupama and Dileep in the morning, many were present in the evening too. The actors and special guests were all guided through a special VVIP entrance, where confidantes and family members ensured they had an easy entrance to the stage. Although, a few gatecrashers in this section made it tough for a few them, by mobbing them for selfies and obstructing them on their way to the stage.
All for Shivanna
Producer Rockline Venkatesh was seen ensuring all the special guests, especially those from outside Bengaluru as well as the politicians, got to enter and exit without any problems. Others like producer Kanakapura Srikanth too stepped in to ensure every special guest was well-taken care of.
Politicos drop by too
While SM Krishna and a few other politicians from the state chose to attend the morning muhurtham, there were quite a few veterans like Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Mallikarjun Kharge, HD Kumaraswamy and Dharam Singh dropped by for the reception. We also spotted many of the city’s top cops and a few other important bureaucrats at the evening ceremony.
Directors Galore
The evening ceremony saw many of the filmmakers from Sandalwood swing by to wish the couple. Some of them who were spotted at the wedding included some of the older ones Indrajit Lankesh, Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, Sai Prakash, R Chandru, and Yogaraj Bhat. We also spotted some of the younger brigade like AP Arjun and Chethan Kumar. There were quite a few of the producer bunch too, including Tarun Shivappa, who is slated to producing the upcoming Shivarajkumar-starrer Leader, which takes off this year-end.
Glam dolls galore at the do
Considering that Shivarajkumar and wife Geetha went and personally invited all their industry friends at their residences, many of the actresses made it a point to honour their invite. Spotted at the event were Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Gandhi, Shubra Aiyappa, Rachita Ram, Nabha Natesh, Meghana Gaonkar, Bhavana, Shruthi, Radhika Pandit, Karunya Ram and Tejaswini among others.
Ladies bring out their finery
Some of the senior actress from the industry were spotted, which included Sowcar Janaki and sister Krishakumari, Sumithra and Gayathri Prabhakar, who was accompanied by daughter Anu. All of them looked resplendant in their saris. Malavika Avinash also dropped by with husband Avinash.
Special Appearances
A whole host of industry friends from other states dropped by to wish the young couple. While Prabhu Ganesan, NTR’s son Harikrishna, Telugu actor Srikanth and veteran actress Ambika were spotted at the morning wedding, the evening saw Ram Charan, representing his father Chiranjeevi, as well as Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli in attendance. We also saw Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan, who was seen in Vajrakaya, make a quick appearance.
