City based gathering curated by Ekta Singh would witness an interactive session this Saturday at 6 pm. "Initiating Short-Film sessions for bringing in film-makers and film lovers together. Being a part of this growing community will be your easy access to meet film-makers, even if you aspire to work in the films," shares Ekta.
The session on short-film making by Pratik Rajen Kothari would have him touch the art of this form of filmmaking and other interesting topics.
Pratik started assisting filmmakers in his free time after theatre. He also assisted Shyam Benegal and
Deepti Naval and that's where his journey began as a filmmaker. Over the next few years he started making independent short films and music videos. In 2016 his short film Hell O Hello was a part of Humaramovie's Shor Se Shuruaat anthology which released in cinemas. Hell O Hello was presented by Shyam Benegal and featured a song penned by Gulzar and sung by Rekha Bharadwaj. Pratik's latest short film 'Grill' won a lot of acclaim and awards and was subsequently released online in June.
The entries are limited to keep the session interactive says the curator.
