Marathi cinema's bigwigs attend drama festival organised by Dramatics Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad

The ongoing drama festival organised by the Dramatics Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on the first day staged plays that depicted various themes right from love, corruption, cheating to violence.
Writer-director Gajendra Ahire’s play Dekhni Bayko Dusryachi which was directed by Shivkanta Sutar, one of the participating students, was well received by the audience.
Singer-composer-director Avdhoot Gupte and director Rajesh Shikhare attended the event. Also seen were actors Abhijit Khandkekar and Prarthna Behre who was dressed in a red anarkali outfit. Prarthana who seemed impressed said, “It’s good to see aspiring drama students making an effort to undergo formal training in dramatics before forging ahead.” Katha Khairlanjichi, Zhulus, Phutpayricha Samrat, Tritiya Ratna, Thank You Mister Glad and Punha Ek Gandhari are some of the plays which will be staged on the remaining days of the month-long festival.
